Nestled in the peaceful village of Mogalmari, West Bengal, the Mogalmari Buddhist Association is dedicated to preserving the ancient heritage of Buddhism and sharing the timeless teachings of the Buddha with the world. Rooted in the sacred grounds of the 5th-6th century CE Mogalmari Monastery, our mission is to revive and protect this invaluable spiritual site-once a flourishing center of Buddhist learning and culture. With members and supporters from 14 countries, and a growing global network-including a recent partnership with Moscow-the Association actively promotes Buddhist education, cross-cultural dialogue, and global unity. Through study, meditation, and community service, we aim to cultivate compassion, mindfulness, and a sense of shared humanity. Our doors are open to all-regardless of background or belief-who seek to be part of a more harmonious, spiritually connected world.
