Hon’ble District Magistrate of Paschim Medinipur, Sri Bijan Krishna, I.A.S., visited the Buddhist Mahavihara at Mogalmari
Some moments quietly kindle a lamp within the heart. The soil of one’s birthplace then becomes the music of roots, the fragrance of memory, and an unwritten poem of history.
The newly appointed Hon’ble District Magistrate of Paschim Medinipur, Sri Bijan Krishna, I.A.S., visited the Buddhist Mahavihara at Mogalmari, accompanied by Additional District Magistrate Sri Navneet Mittal, I.A.S., the BDO of Dantan-I, and other dignitaries. It was our privilege to share Mogalmari’s rich Buddhist heritage as a living and tangible chapter of history.
With the steadfast support of Sanjay Das and Debashish Chand, I had the honour of presenting the officials with the book “Itihas O Oitihyer Aloke Mogalmari Chunye Dantapur,” with the hope that this remarkable legacy will become better known and be preserved with care for generations to come.
The day came to an end, but its quiet sense of pride and gratitude remained-like light, like prayer, like poetry.
